WB-funded Project Preparation Foundation Approved
The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has recently issued the Document 422/TTg-QHQT to approve the World Bank (WB)-funded “Project preparation foundation” project which is administered by the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Accordingly, the WB will finance a total of US$103 million in 2010, in which IDA capital accounts for US$100 million and the Vietnamese Government contributes US$3 million.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to carry out the project and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to undertake project-receiving procedures.
