The Mediapro project has recently been launched in Hanoi. The VND6 billion two-year project is funded by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office via the British Embassy in Vietnam.

The project will be jointly implemented by the British Council in Vietnam in collaboration with the Academy of Journalism and Communication, journalism and communication faculties at Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University, and the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Mediapro helps improve journalist training quality by building an appropriate and practicable code of conducts which will be used as a guide for Vietnamese journalists. MediaPro will also create favourable conditions for Vietnamese journalists to develop their profession by sharing ideas and experience with UK journalists, aiming to boosting the quality of training in three establishments in Vietnam.

The training programme will equip journalism students with profound knowledge and skills for practicing their careers.
