Vietnam Corp. to Kick-start Japanese-funded $680M Railway Project in Q3

 The Vietnam Railway Corporation (VRC) plans to kick-start a Japanese-funded railway project worth $680 million in the third quarter of this year.
 
The VRC will use Japanese Shinkansen technology for the railway which will connect Noi Bai International Airport and stations in Hanoi. The route, to be designed by Itochu Group, will be 47 km long and have eight stations.
 
The railway is expected for trial run in the second quarter of 2015.
 
Vietnam will use Shinkansen technology to build a $55.8 billion Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City express railway. (vietnamnet)
