Vietnamese Ministry of Transport has approved the central province of Ninh Thuan to build an expressway with a total investment of VND2 trillion ($105.26 million) in central.

The 50-kilometer expressway will connect Cam Ranh international airport in Khanh Hoa and Phan Rang city in Ninh Thuan.

Ninh Thuan province plans to start construction of the expressway early next year and finish it in 2012 or 2013.

Once operational, the expressway will halve time for visitors and investors who travel from the airport to Ninh Thuan.
