In addition to the patient's health care and focusing on improving service quality, the Clinic is implementing a project to improve community health care. According to Dr Dang Ngoc Phi Nga, director of the Clinic, the Clinic is implementing this project in direct coordination with the HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy on Saturdays, at 99-109 Thuan Kieu , Ward 4, District 11, HCMC. Here, regular specialized seminars and talks are held on immunization in children, how to overcome anorexia in children, and the skills of neonatal care.

The Clinic has been working with prestigious medical institutions locally and internationally with the participation of professionals from the US, Canada and France to organize training courses from basic to advanced health care skills for those who work as professionals including doctors, nurses and all entities in the community. One example is training courses on skills to take care of children with autism, organized in cooperation with the Academy of American Paediatrics or AAP, representatives from Project Vietnam international charity, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. This program has been highly evaluated by the specialized agencies and many parents. On International Children’s Day, the 1st of June, the Clinic offered free medical care for children in HCMC and neighbouring provinces.

Currently, Paediatrics is a specialized group which is being invested for development in the Clinic. The investment has solved both the immediate key problem of overloaded paediatric hospitals and contributed to improving indicators of Vietnam child health care in the future. From the first office in District 11, HCMC, the Clinic plans to develop a system of clinics in many areas of HCM City and some neighbouring provinces to help improve community health care, in cooperation with the health sector.
