Panasonic Corporation recently announced the opening of a sciences and mathematics-themed centre called Panasonic Risupia Vietnam, the second of its kind in the world after Japan. The new facility utilizes Panasonic's advanced AV technologies and know-how to interpret the world’s famous laws and principles of sciences and mathematics into various playing activities for Vietnamese children aged from 11 to 17 years old. The establishment is scheduled to open to the public every day (except Monday and New Year holidays) from September 8, 2010.

Risupia (the name is developed from the Japanese word of “Ri” for Sciences, “Su” for Mathematics, and from the Greek word of “Pia” for Place) was first opened in August 2006 at Panasonic Centre Tokyo, as a support to the development of Japan’s future generation, by providing a place for children to play with several laws and principles of sciences and mathematics hidden in exhibited items. The final objective is to spur their interest in learning the beauty and wonders of sciences and mathematics.

With a view to creating a linkage between scientific theories and applications in life, as well as embodying the corporate’s vision of becoming a Green Innovation Company, Risupia Vietnam also displays Panasonic’s most advanced and most comfortable ecological lifestyle and business style.
