Panasonic Vietnam Awards 8th Master Scholarship
Panasonic Vietnam has decided to grant the 2011 Panasonic Scholarship to the outstanding Vietnamese students nominated from the strict selection by the Jury, whose members are representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, the Panasonic Scholarship Japan Office, and from Panasonic Vietnam. This is the 8th time the Panasonic Scholarship Program has been implemented in Vietnam.
In 2010, 40 students from 15 universities nationwide applied for 2011 Panasonic Master Scholarship. Three of them have successfully passed 5 selecting rounds to win the Panasonic Master Scholarship for the course of 2011 - 2014. They are Ninh Van Cuong (Hanoi University of Technology); Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (Hanoi University of Science);Nguyen Thi Minh Viet ( Hanoi University of Agriculture).
It is planned for those three students to officialy start their study course in March at top universities in Japan, after spending four months in Vietnam learning Japanese.
The Panasonic Scholarship Program in Vietnam has been started since 2003. So far the scholarship has been granted to 19 outstanding Vietnamese students. Eight of themhave completed Master courses. Four of the eight are doing a Doctorate, the other four are working in Japan and Vietnam.
