Vinamilk Transfers Coffee Project to Trung Nguyen

The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (Vinamilk), one of the largest milk producers in Vietnam, has recently announced that it has signed a contract to transfer the Saigon Coffee Factory to Trung Nguyen Joint Stock Company. This milestone marked the first cooperation of the two leading concerns in Vietnam.
 
The Saigon coffee mill, to be built on a 6 ha site in the My Phuoc Industrial Zone, Ben Cat district in the southern province of Binh Duong, will help treble Trung Nguyen’s capacity of instant coffee.
 
Powered by advanced technologies the world and proper operations, the factory will turn out a wide range of premium coffees like roasted coffee, instant coffee and canned coffee for the domestic market. The company also eyes exporting the factory’s products to other nations like the United States, China and Singapore in 2012.
 
Trung Nguyen is now running a coffee museum where display more than 10,000 exhibits. It will open to the public in March 2011.
