With non-stop development and growth, Dong Phu Rubber joint stock company (DORUCO) has been a leading company of Vietnam Rubber Group in exploitation and production. Thanks to its strong focus on developing productivity and latex output, in the last few years, DORUCO has met and surpassed its targets.
 
Rubber enterprises have faced numerous difficulties due to the impacts of the global economic crisis, but DORUCO has achieved good results. DORUCO has now 6 rubber farms with a total area of 10,000 hectares, of which 8,000 ha is under exploitation. It has 2 processing factories running with Malaysian and German technology, including: Tan Lap processing factory with capacity of 6,000 tons/year, equipped with advanced technology of Wesftilia (Germany), producing mainly Latex HA and Latex NA; and Thuan Phu processing factory, producing SVR L, SVR 3 L, SVR 10, SVR 20, SVRCV 50 and SVRCV 60 with advanced Malaysian technology and capacity of 16,000 tons/year.
 
In order to insure quality, output and environmental protection, DORUCO always invests in modern equipment and technology. DORUCO received the ISO 9001-2000 quality management system certification in 1999 and most recently the ISO 900:2008 in 2009.
 
With this, Doruco’s products are always of good quality and stability, meeting the stringent demands of customers like Michelin, Mitsubishi, Safic Alcan and Tea Young. Almost 86 percent of Doruco's total products are exported to foreign markets including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Britain, Spain, South Korea, Australia, the United States, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Chinese Taipei (China), China and Japan. DORUCO’s previous main focus was on products such as SVR 3L and latex, but the company is now diversifying its range of products to include SVR CV 10 and SVR CV 20, highly valued with a stable consumption market.
 
To achieve the targets of maintaining stable development and increasing competitiveness in the global integration period, DORUCO has carried out various projects such as: contributing capital to establish Dong Phu Kratie Rubber Joint Stock Company, planting 10,000 ha rubber in Kratie – Cambodia; establishing DackNong –Dong Phu rubber joint stock company, planting 3,000-4,000 ha rubber in Dak Nong province; contributing capital to build roads (under BOT contract) from Dong Xoai-Phuoc Long, Binh Phuoc, from Tan Lap-Binh Phuoc to Cong Xanh T-junction, Binh Duong province with total capital of VND 43.8 billion; establishing Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park joint stock company with charter capital of VND 100 billion to invest in Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park (186 ha) and Dong Phu rubber residential area (38ha); building a latex pillow and mattress production plant (capacity of 300 mattresses and 600 pillows/day) using 4,000 tons of latex/year. In addition, DORUCO has also contributed total capital of VND 20 billion to many projects of Vietnam Rubber Group, including Tuan An Wood processing joint stock company, Sa Thay rubber joint stock company (10 percent of charter capital), Ho Nai Industrial Park, and the Rubber Tourism-Service- Trading Company in Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province.
 
Apart from business and production activities, DORUCO pays special attention to lives of its staff and workers. DORUCO always creates stable jobs even in the most difficult business periods, following suitable labour policies to provide social insurance, health care insurance and periodic check-ups. DORUCO also provides for workers’ civic life and entertainment, building sports facilities such as football, volleyball and badminton at every production unit, farm and factory.
 
In the coming time, DORUCO will continuously strengthen investment in the form of capital contribution. DORUCO will focus on enhancing production, improving technical standards and labour productivity, improving product quality, cutting production costs, reducing product price and increasing market competitiveness. The company will also organize many emulation movements including improvement of productivity, quality and effectiveness in production and processing; an initiative of technical improvement in exploitation and processing to reduce product costs, to seek local and international markets, and to insure stability in production and consumption.
