Education Malaysia Exposition Held in HCMC
The Education Malaysia 2011 Exposition was held in Ho Chi Minh City on 26 and 27 March. The event was attended by 15 institutions of Malaysia Higher Education, namely Taylor’s University, Sunway University, Management Science University, Mahsa University & College, University Kuala Lumpur, Inti University, London English Academy, Sains Malaysia University, Segi University College, UCSI University, KDU University & College, KBU International & college, Kebangsaan Malaysia University, International Medical University Malaysia, and Help University & College. Prof Dr Morshidi Sirat, Deputy Director General, Department of Higher Education Malaysia, said: “Foreign universities like Monash University, Nottingham University and Curtin University, Swinburne and New Caste have their own campuses in Malaysia. Available external programmes enable students to obtain recognized degrees from reputable universities from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany and New Zealand. Foreign students can study in Malaysia at lower cost, earning international degrees while enjoying the advantages the country can offer. In short, Malaysia is certainly a value choice study destination.” Since its establishment in Vietnam, Mr Helmy Sulaiman, Director of MEPC, added, “The Malaysia Education Promotion Centre (MEPC) has aggressively promoted Malaysia as preferred study destination to Vietnamese students. With effective promotion strategies coupled with Malaysia’s proximity and its many advantages, Malaysia becomes a Centre of Education Excellence.”
The 2011 Exposition welcomed thousands of Vietnamese students and their parents to learn more about the branches of study, school fees and international living environment in Malaysia.
