Kien Giang Offers more Incentives to Lure Foreign Investment
Southern Kien Giang province has just offered a series of special preferences to foreign investors seeking business in the fields of fisheries, processing and exporting aquacultural products, and eco-tourism.
The investors will enjoy a 10 per cent corporate income tax for 15 years, a four-year exemption of the tax from the time their incomes are levied, and a 50 per cent discount in the following 7-9 years. The leasing fees for land are US$0.03-1.08 per sq km/year, US$76 per sq km/year for river surface, and US$150 per sq km/year seawaters.
In addition, foreign-invested enterprises will not have to pay land or water leasing fees during infrastructure construction period.
