VN-Russia Ties Attain Fine Achievements
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai expressed his delight at fine cooperation successes in the fields of science - technology, trade, energy and oil and gas between Vietnam and Russia over the past time while meeting with his Russian guest.
Deputy PM Hai on August 10 hosted a reception to Vice Chairman of the Russian State Duma Melnikov Ivan Ivanovich who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
The Deputy PM said that Vietsovpetro oil and gas joint venture set an example of effective projects and represented a symbol of comprehensive cooperation between the two sides.
Mr. Melnikov also spoke highly of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
During his stay in Vietnam on August 9-17, Mr. Melnikov and the delegation of Russian State Duma will pay working visits to the central cities of Da Nang and Hue, the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.
