Despite being present in Binh Phuoc province since 2003, the Mobifone Binh Phuoc branch had not been established until 2009 to manage mobile service networks provided by VMS - Mobifone Company in the province. Since this important milestone, with its continuous effort, Mobifone Binh Phuoc has asserted its position on the local mobile communications market and contributed significantly to the construction of Mobifone brand in the past time.
Business in conjunction with social security
In 2010, Mobifone Binh Phuoc attained very positive achievements in both business and social security. Its revenue reached VND160 billion in 2010, up 30 percent over 2009. To serve customers better and better, the branch built 20 base transceiver stations (BTS) in the year, bringing the total number of BTS in the province to 131. Mobifone Binh Phuoc has made its image familiar to all customers by continuously improving its service style, fostering professional, technical and business training for its staff and expanding its operating networks. The branch has invested and developed 10 professional agents in 2010, bringing the total number of professional agents to 36 in the province.
In the light of the axiom "All for customers," VMS - Mobifone in general and Mobifone Binh Phuoc in particular have carried out many specialised customer care programmes like flower presentation to customers on their birthdays, long connectivity, and customer appreciation programmes. With considerate, attentive and professional customer care programmes, Mobifone continuously reaped honourable awards. The company has been voted the best mobile network operator for six straight years and voted the company with best service quality for three consecutive years.
Apart from business operations, Mobifone Binh Phuoc has also actively participated in cultural and social activities and sponsored major events in Binh Phuoc like Song Be for love and compassion programme (in January 2010); Golden Cashew Fruit Festival (March 2010); sponsorship for young Vietnamese entrepreneur meeting on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneur Day (October 2010); donations for disabilities, orphans and poor patients; gift presentation for people in the Binh Phuoc Social Protection Centre, etc. Through these programmes, the branch wishes to join in social works to share its success with the people of Binh Phuoc.
Improving network quality
Living standards of people in Binh Phuoc province are rising; hence, more and more people can afford utility-rich 3G services. Mobifone Binh Phuoc is seeing a high demand for 3G services in Vietnam in general and Binh Phuoc in particular. Fast-growing Binh Phuoc is considered a centre of fast development and a potential market for Mobifone in the coming time. Therefore, to conquer and dominate this market successfully, Mobifone has installed new BTSs and upgraded 3G stations in Binh Phuoc province and the whole country.
