Agriculture Industry Seeks More Brand Names

 

The Business Club for Vietnamese Agricultural Product Branding (CAB) was launched on July 30 by the Saigon Economic Times and Trung Nguyen Coffee Company with the aim of building up more brand names for Vietnamese agricultural products.

 

Under the CAB’s action plan, around 30 typical products will be supported for the introduction of trademarks. From now until the end of the year, CAB will try to complete projects on designing trademarks for the Tam Binh king orange, the Hoa Loc-Hau River sweet mango and the Lo Ren star apple, and a project to develop trademarks for the Hoang Hau (Queen) dragon fruit, the Cai Mon Chin Hoa durian and Ba hai Mat Kieng coconut candy.

 

CAB will also open a contest for the most beautiful agricultural product photographs in the fourth quarter of 2004. Trung Nguyen Coffee Company has sponsored VND350 million for the club in the first two years.
