78 Construction Joint Stock Company was set up in 1973 from the restructuring of Factory 8 affiliated with Nghe An Company 6, and renamed 78 Construction Company in 2000. The company, an affiliate of Mien Trung Construction Company, changed its name to 78 Construction Joint Stock Company. To date, the firm has asserted its leading role in the construction industry of Quang Tri province.

Economic turmoil in 2010 and 2011 has sent many construction companies to the brink of bankruptcy. Fortunately, 78 Construction Joint Stock Company made timely responses and right adaptations. It cut staff to save costs and focused on small and medium scale projects. The director added, “Now, we focus on small projects to exist and build up stronger foundations for future development. Due to limited work, we have just completed 50 percent of the plan set for this year. We made revenues of VND17 billion out of VND50 billion for the whole year.

 

Thanks to its relentless efforts, 78 Construction Joint Stock Company attained revenues of VND15 billion in the first nine months of this year. But most importantly, the company has the strong determination and absolute consensus of all staff. “We are determined to uphold our brand name and our position.”
