Vietnam Int’l Agriculture Fair 2011 to Open Early December

The Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2011 (VIAF 2011) will take place at Can Tho International Exhibition Fair Centre on December 2-12 this year.

 

VIAF is an annual event of the national Trade Promotion Programme to be jointly held by Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Can Tho International Exhibition Fair Centre and Can Tho Television Station. VIAF 2011 will be a chance for enterprises to exchange cooperation for expanding their business in the Mekong Delta region.

According to the organising board, this year’s fair themed “Building new rural development mode, high-tech agricultural production for agricultural development” is expected to attract 500 firms. Various products, including machines and equipment for agricultural processing and post-harvest preservation will be displayed at the fair. Conferences and trade promotion activities will be also held during the fair.
