Charity Dinner with Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder

More than 100 Swiss and German high-ranking business managers and diplomatic guests of the Swiss Business Association (SBA) and German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam joined the charity dinner at the friendly reception of former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder held recently at Intercontinental Asiana Saigon Hotel.

 

In a speech delivered to delegates, H.E. Gerhard Schroeder expressed his standpoints on opportunities and challenges in the 21st century when the world needs cooperation and exchange for national peace and prosperity. Besides, he mentioned the flourishing cooperation between Germany and Vietnam.

 

With the support of some GBA members like Mercedes-Benz, METRO Cash & Carry, VinaCapital Investment and Robert Bosch, a total donation of VND180 million was granted to The Dariu Foundation in Vietnam to help the poor and unlucky children in Vietnam.
