Vietnam and Laos Cooperate on Rubber

The Central Highlands Dac Lac Province and Laos’ southern Sekong Province are to work together in rubber production.

Dac Lac Province will coordinate with the Central Highlands Institute for Agriculture and Forestry Science to assist the Sekong Province’s development of existing coffee growing areas, and provide guidance on coffee cultivation. The province will construct a US$2 million farm-produce processing plant in Sekong under the Build-Operation-Transfer form.

Sekong will create amiable conditions for Dac Lac Province’s enterprises to invest in the province.
