Education Malaysia Public Speaking Competition Organised

Education Malaysia, a section in the Consulate General of Malaysia in HCM City recently collaborated with HCM City English Speaking Club to organize Education Malaysia public speaking competition 2011 with the presence of Mr Shazryll Zahiran, the Consul General, Mr Helmy, Education Attaché and guests invited. At the beginning, 120 students from HCM City Universities, Colleges subscribed in the contest and 10 of them were selected to final test. At round 1, the contestants must perform their prepared speech and in round 2 was impromptu speech. Finally, the judge committee acclaimed Nguyen Hoang Vy won the first prize, Nguyen Dang Ngoc Hai, the second prize, Nguyen Ngoc Hanh Chau, the third prize and the seven rests awarded consolation prizes.

 

This is an opportunity for Vietnamese students to develop their skill in English speaking to go study in abroad as well as to have a good job in the future.
