Japan Supports Ngo May School Upgrading
The grassroots grant contract funded by the Government of Japan for “The Project for upgrading and extending Ngo May primary school” worth US$109,733 was signed on December 16, 2011, at the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
Ngo May primary school in Ia Kla commune, Duc Co District, Gia Lai province has become seriously degraded, raising concern about children’s safety.
Under this circumstance, Department of Education and Training of Duc Co District has planned to build a new building (2 floors 8 classrooms) in order to clear shift learning to improve children’s learning facility. The Government of Japan has decided to grant an aid to purchase necessary materials for the project.
At the ceremony, H.E. Mr Yasuaki Tanizaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam, said: “I hope that this project funded by the Government of Japan will contribute to social and economic development of region, the friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and Vietnam will be further deepened”.
