AEBF 9 in Vietnam
The Asia-Europe Business Forum 9 (AEBF 9), an initiative of ASEM heads of State and government, will be organised by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Department and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Sheraton Hotel Hanoi on October 7-8, 2004.
AEBF is regarded as the main channel reflecting the recommendations of Asian-European businesses to the ASEM leadership to create a more favourable environment for trade and investment between the two continents. In the past years, AEBF has contributed to the formation of policies promoting economic development and international integration.
According to the organising committee, AEBF 9 will offer businesses the opportunity to meet and discuss policies to promote trade and investment with ASEM leaders. They will also have the chance to exchange market information and opportunities for development of trade, investment and tourism among themselves.
