Vietnam, Japan Eye Trade Value at US$30 Bln by 2015

The Japan - Vietnam Association - Okayama Branch, and the Okayama International Cultural Exchange Association collaborated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organise the Vietnam - Okayama (Japan) business meeting in Hanoi in order to support businesses of the two countries to look for outsourcing partners and import agents.
 
The Okayama business delegation consists of companies operating in information technology, metalworking, industrial machine and automotive parts, bicycle, electric bike, law and others. This programme was a major content of a series of events organised during the visit of Japanese delegation.
 
At the meeting, Mr Pham Quang Thinh, Deputy Director of International Relations Department, VCCI, appreciated the good relationship between the two nations, featured by frequent high-ranking visits which were followed by agreements on politics, economics, culture, national security and defence or expansive exchanges of the two peoples. He hoped that Vietnam and Japan will attain bilateral trade turnover of US$30 billion by 2015.
