Vietnam Treasures Ties with Mozambique
Vietnam attaches much importance to boosting multifaceted cooperation with Mozambique which is an important partner in Africa, said State President Truong Tan Sang.
The Vietnamese Head of State made the point on March 13 while receiving Mozambican Ambassador to Vietnam Antonio Incacio Junior, who is about to finish mission in Vietnam.
The State President expressed his thanks to Mozambique for its support at multilateral forums and praised the ambassador's contributions to heightening relations in the past years.
State President Sang proposed that Mozambique should pay favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to invest in the fields of telecommunications and agriculture to raise two-way trade to US$1 billion.
For his part, Ambassador Inacio Junior expressed his thanks to Vietnam for its support during his working term.
The establishment of a Mozambican embassy in Vietnam represented as an important step in developing relations.
