French Medical Firms Seek Opportunities in Vietnam
A delegation of 12 French medical companies will pay a working visit to Vietnam from March 12 to 15, 2012 with the aim of exploring the domestic medical market. The visit is organised by Ubifrance, the French agency for international business development. Two meetings with Vietnamese companies will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, 90 percent of medical equipment used in clinics and hospitals in Vietnam are imported. This is an opportunity for French businesses to approach this potential market.
Visiting French companies are operating in hospital construction design and consulting (Egis International), turnkey hospital equipment supply (Ideal Medical Product, Alliance International & Partners), medical and hospital waste treatment (Ecodas), etc.
With more than 100 bilateral meetings with Vietnamese firms during the trip, French businesses will have the opportunity to introduce their technologies, services and experiences. This activity is aimed to develop the sustainable partnership in all fields between the two countries like trade, technology and technique.
