Israel Plans to Expand Trade, Investment in Southern Vietnam

In 2012, the Economic and Trade office, Embassy of Israel, will conduct a series of activities designed to expand trade and investment to Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces.

 

Within this framework, Dr Yoram Kapulnik, Director of Israel’s Agriculture Research Centre (Vocalni Center), has a working visit in Ho Chi Minh City and Dak Lak province from 21 to 22 March 2012. The visit, coordinated by Israel’s Ministry of Trade and Labour and the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam, aiming to promote cooperation and to introduce the coming Agritech Exhibition 2012 in Israel. Earlier this month, the Embassy also organized a Seminar on Water technology in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Dr Kapulnik has meetings with Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to present Israel’s achievements and innovations in agriculture. He also has meetings with the People’s Committee of Dak Lak province and then visits Trung Nguyen Group.
