Amata Continues to Enhance Investment in Vietnam

On his recent visit to Vietnam, Mr Vikrom Kromadit, founder of Amata Corporation Plc (Thailand), confirmed its continuing strong investment in Vietnam following its successful project of Amata Industrial Park in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai. He also shared with participants at the meeting on March 28 at Amata Service Centre information about the success of Amata and especially his book, namely “Be A Better Man”. The book is his autobiography about his family’s life.
 
At the meeting, Mr Vikrom expressed his confidence about the future of ASEAN in general and Vietnam in particular. “Vietnam is now running fast, in many things even faster than Thailand, I told the Thai media many times that Vietnam is our competitor,” said Vikrom. He also affirmed that the choice he made 16 years ago to invest in Vietnam was the right one and he is committed to continuing to invest here.
 
Amata Corp Plc has now 3 industrial estates in Thailand and two in Vietnam, the Corp is now looking at an ambitious plan for a US$ 20 billion park with total area of 1,300 hectares in Long Thanh, Dong Nai. The project is scheduled to start in 2013.
