Hong Phong Company Limited was founded in 1993 and officially operated in July 1994. Hong Phong is one of the first building stone manufacturing units in Lang Son province. The company’s products have been used in most civil construction – industrial, traffic works, bridges and roads in Lang Son, as well as neighbouring provinces such as Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Hanoi.
After 20 years of development, Hong Phong has made an impression among its partners and Lang Son province with a brand of reputation, quality and expertise. Overcoming ups and downs, difficulties as well as successes, it is the solidarity, determination of the whole staff and enthusiasm of Director General Tran Van Dung that contributes to Hong Phong’s current position.
Aware of demand for building materials for Central, provincial projects and those in neighbouring provinces, in 1993, Hong Phong Company Limited was established, which helped to positively influence project progress and costs of works in the province. At present, the company owns three stone mines: Hong Phong I mine in Hong Phong commune, Cao Loc district, Hong Phong II mine in Cai Kinh commune, Huu Lung district and Hong Phong III mine in To Hieu commune, Binh Gia district, with products of diverse types such as: baking-free brick – solid brick, 6-hole brick, and 2-hole brick in varied shapes and dimensions, building stones such as Stone 0.475 and Stone 19.5, rubble stone, sub-base stone, base stone tested by Institute of Transport Technology and Science – Ministry of Transport to meet standards of stone size, stone’s composition and mechanical –physical specifications. To ensure stability and quality, in each mine, a laboratory was established to take samples and regularly conduct experiments on product quality according to the regulations.
Not only involved in manufacturing and trading building stones to meet customers’ needs, the company also has vehicles to provide product transport service to construction sites. Currently, the company is using vehicles from 5 tonnes to 30-40 tonnes. In addition, to be active about production materials, the company built oil pumping stalls to both meet internal needs and for sale. Especially, the company is an exclusive agent for distribution and provision of Duong Quang firm’s baking-free brick line from Xiamen – China.
At the moment, Hong Phong is the leading provider of building materials in Lang Son, working with most provincial works such as: Project Dinh Lap Boundary Bell, Project Road Hoa Binh – Binh La – Gia Vien, and Project Road Pac Khuong – Thien Long. Besides, Hong Phong Company Limited has been assigned the construction of key national works such as Highway 1A, Improving Highway 4B, Highway 1B, and Bac Ninh – Noi Bai Road, about which Hong Phong in particular and Lang Son in general are proud of.
Given such achievements, Hong Phong has made and will continue to make positive contributions to Lang Son province’s social-economic development and national industrialization and modernization.
