Vietnam Television (VTV), Dan Tri E-newspaper, and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) recently launched the Vietnam Talent Award 2012 - the eighth version.
The award aims to discover real talents with practical contribution to the society in the three fields: Information technology, applied science and medicine. All entrants for the award must be sent from November 21, 2011 to August 31, 2012. The scoring process will be held from September 1, 2012 to November 19, 2012.
IT products will be divided into two categories: Successful IT products and prospective IT products. Each category has one first prize, one runner-up prize and one third prize, with respective reward value of VND100 million, VND50 million and VND30 million.
In applied science, awards will be allocated for individuals or collectives who have recorded excellent achievements in mathematics, mechanics, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, and environment
In medicine, awards will be granted to research projects well applied in practice. Both domestic and foreign projects are encouraged to compete in this field.
