Starting operations in 2002, Vinh Tien Co., Ltd specialises in making coconut candies and cakes branded Yen Hoang and Tien Dat. Its products are made under a clean technology and international quality management system, ISO:9001-2008; thus, they meet international requirements for food and hygiene safety. The company does not use any chemicals in any production process and applies strict input checking procedures to ensure healthy products for consumers. Apart from meeting customer tastes, the company pays attention to designing products and packages to catch the attention of customers. All creativity is based on cultures and traditions of consumers.
 
Vinh Tien Co., Ltd also places a premium on product quality and branding. The firm always studies solutions to improve technologies from existing bases to create breakthrough products like Vietnam’s only coconut candy non-sticky to teeth. Furthermore, it also conducts researches on cleaner production technologies and applies innovative solutions to reduce fuel and input costs to lower product prices. Especially in 2011 and early 2012, while many companies went bust, suffered operating losses or shrank production, Vinh Tien still enjoyed very stable operation. In 2011, the company’s coconut candy export expanded 15 percent over 2010 to reach 1,500 tonnes. In the first quarter of 2012, coconut candy shipments weighed nearly 400 tonnes.

Vinh Tien’s efforts to substantiate its trademark in the past can be seen in a number of certificates of appreciation from Ben Tre Provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The company is the only coconut candy producer to receive cleaner production certification. Director Dang Thi Truc Lan Chi was bestowed many awards and titles like Bach Thai Buoi Award - Vietnamese businesspeople in the 21st century (2007), Certificate of Merits from Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee for scientific and technological applications to coconut candy (2008), Thanh Giong Cup for outstanding entrepreneur (2010), and Golden Rose Cup for typical Vietnamese female entrepreneurs (2011).
 
Looking to the future, Vinh Tien Co., Ltd is focusing investment and cooperating with foreign partners to expand production scale, build brand, and bring Vietnamese traditional coconut candy of Ben Tre to the further world.
