Hanoi Honours Outstanding Enterprises and Entrepreneurs

A conference was held in Hanoi on July 24 to honour outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises.

 

The event was attended by the Party Central Committee member and Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Chairwoman of the municipal People's Council Ngo Thi Doan Thanh.

 

The Hanoi municipal People’s Committee awarded ‘Capital Initiative – Creation’ certificates to 100 extraordinary individuals and presented certificates of merit to 135 enterprises and 100 entrepreneurs.

 

At the conference, five enterprises in Hanoi were also given emulation flags by the Prime Minister and 21 businesses received excellent emulation flags from the city’s People’s Committee.

 

In recent years, capital city enterprises and entrepreneurs have actively contributed to promoting production, delivered goods to the countryside, and have participated in emulation movements, especially the ‘Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods' campaign.

 

In addition, workers, officers and employees also actively took part in the 2012 ‘Capital Initiative – Creation’ emulation movement to improve the quality and the effectiveness of production and business activities.

 

In the first half of 2012, businesses in the city have netted a profit of VND100 billion thanks to solutions from the ‘Capital Initiative – Creation’ movement.
