Vietnam-Chile Visa Exemption Agreement Gets Nod

The Government has agreed with the content of the draft agreement between Vietnam and Chile on visa exemption for ordinary passport holders.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in charge of working with relevant ministries and agencies to sign the agreement with the Chilean side.
 
The two countries inked a visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders on October 22, 2003. The agreement came into force on June 25, 2005.
 
So far, Vietnam has signed visa exemption agreements with 71 countries of which 68 are valid.
