Top 10 Tra Exporters in Jan-Aug
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) said Vinh Hoan Corporation was the biggest tra catfish exporter of Vietnam in the first eight months of 2012 with over US$103 million, followed by Hung Vuong Corporation with US$76.4 million.
VASEP said Vietnam’s tra catfish export valued at over US$1.15 billion in the first eight months of 2012, down 0.5 per cent from a year ago. The EU remains the biggest importer of Vietnamese tra fish with 25.3 per cent of the market share, followed by the US with 22 per cent, ASEAN with 6.3 per cent, and Mexico with 5.3 per cent.
