Japan Consulate Bestows Certificate of Appreciation to Vietnamese Businessman

Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City recently granted the certificate of appreciation to a Vietnamese businessman for the first time since it was established in Ho Chi Minh City in 1993.
 
The merit was bestowed on Mr Nguyen Tri Dung, Director of Minh Tran Company, for his great contributions to boosting economic exchange and promoting international cooperation like Japan - Vietnam Technical Economic Cooperation, educational exchanges for young people of the two countries, and activities between HCM City and Nagoya City (Japan) in nearly 40 years. Dung used to be a teacher.
 
The event had the presence of Mr Nguyen Hong Linh, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Mr Truong Tan Thieu, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc province, Mr Pham S, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, representatives of Japanese communities in HCM City, and Mr Nguyen Tri Dung’s families and friends.
