French Water Companies Explore Vietnam Market

A French business delegation is about to visit Cambodia and Vietnam from November 1 to 7, 2012. The visit is organized by UBIFRANCE, aiming at creating opportunities for French businesses specialising in water supply and treatment of waste water to survey the local markets and seek cooperation and local partners or introduce their advanced technologies in water supply and waste water treatment. The trip starts in Phnom Penh and wraps up in Hanoi and presents at the French space at Vietwater Expo.

 

Vietnam has huge potential for foreign investors in the water sector. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Government has set ambitious targets at cutting down water leakage, minimising the amount of water discharge and treatment of waste water. Vietnam aims at supplying safe water for 100 per cent of the urban population and treating 80 per cent of the waste water by 2020.

 

French businesses to visit Vietnam include Altereo, APB Environment, Aquasure, De Dietrich, Eaupure, Hemera, Labaronne Citaf, Lacroix Sofrel, Perrier Sorem, Sappel, Sce, Simop, Tech Sub, Tecofi, Veolia Water And Vinci Construction. These are leading French companies specialised in water supply and waste water treatment system construction and management.
