VN, Macedonia Enhance Cooperation

Vietnamese FM Pham Binh Minh and his Macedonian counterpart Nicola Poposki held talks on November 12 on the occasion of the latter’s official visit to Viet Nam.
The Vietnamese FM stressed that the official visit of Macedonian FM helps to strengthen and boost up the two nations’ relationship and cooperation.
 
FM Nicola Poposki highly spoke of Viet Nam’s achievements and confirmed that Macedonia wants to expand cooperate with Viet Nam in all fields.
 
The two sides agreed to accelerate the signing of the Economic Cooperation Agreement and the Agreement on Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment, establish direct relations between the two countries’ enterprises through business forums as well as set up cooperation for the two Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
 
Viet Nam pledged to help Macedonian products to penetrate into ASEAN and Macedonia will bring Vietnamese agricultural products such as rice and coffee to the Balkan Peninsula.
 
The two FMs exchanged international and regional issues of common concerns and asserted to closely coordinate at international and regional forums.
 
The same day, State President Truong Tan Sang received Macedonian FM Nicola Poposki.
