CG Meeting to Be Held in Hanoi Next Month

The Consultative Group (CG) for Viet Nam will hold its annual meeting, themed “Laying the Foundation for Sustainable Growth,” on December 10 in Ha Noi.

 

Delegates will focus discussions on Viet Nam’s macroeconomic updates in 2012 and priorities for 2013 (enhancing efficiency and competitiveness); education and skills (laying the foundation for a successful middle income country); revision of land policy for inclusive and sustainable growth; CG evolution (a new platform for high level policy dialogue); report back from Viet Nam business forum, anti-corruption dialogue, aid effectiveness forum.

 

Ahead of the CG, a separate Viet Nam Business Forum, a structured and ongoing dialogue between the Vietnamese Government and the business community, will be held on December 3 in Ha Noi, with the theme “Restoring Economic Dynamism.”
