DHL Opens New Depot in Danang

On December 12, DHL opened a new VND10 billion depot in Danang. This new 650 square metres depot is the latest investment made by DHL in Vietnam, further solidifying its market leading position in the country.  
Located at 33, Nguyen Du Street, Hai Chau District, the depot serves as a central point for DHL’s customers in Danang and has the capability to process an estimated to process over 250,000 shipments annually. The new depot reinforces Danang’s status as the hub of the Key Economic Zone in Central Vietnam. Built to international standards, the depot is also fully compliant with both Global Standard Operations Procedure (GSOP) and Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) standards.
DHL currently has 8 other facilities in Vietnam including 3 service centres, 3 depots and 2 gateways. This VND10 billion investment brings the total investment by DHL Express to VND300 billion over the past 6 years.
