Three specialised exhibitions will get together to create a force for supporting industries (SI) and cool Japan technology on 4-6 September 2013. They are the 5th Vietnam-Japan Exhibition on Supporting Industries in Hanoi (SIE 2013); Japanese Monozukuri Technology Exhibition, and Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013.
Mr Chainarong Limpkittisin, Managing Director of Reed Tradex said that supporting industries play extremely vital roles in Vietnam. Especially the parts manufacturing sector, a fundamental factor that determines the growth of the motorbike, automotive, and electronics industries, and also the economy and society. A strong parts manufacturing sector can contribute many benefits to the country such as reduced costs of parts imports, higher local skills, enhanced productivity efficiency, superior product values and healthier economy. Supporting industries play extremely vital roles in Vietnam, especially the parts manufacturing sector.
“We, at Reed Tradex, are determined for the show we organise to play our part in driving Vietnam’s industrial development forward, and we hope that this event will do its part in helping to fortify the supporting industries. In this coming September, Vietnam’s manufacturing and supporting industries are set to discover a whole new world of business opportunities as three quality trade exhibitions will join forces including the 5th Vietnam-Japan Exhibition on Supporting Industries in Hanoi (SIE 2013), Japanese Monozukuri Technology Exhibition, and Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013.”
Mr Hirokazu Yamaoka, Chief Representative, JETRO Hanoi Office, said: “Vietnam is one of the promising countries for Japanese investors. By the year 2020, Vietnam will become an industrialised country with sufficient supply of raw materials and basic fuels. This MEGA Show in September will be a rare chance that industrialists, manufacturers and businessmen in Vietnam should not miss”.
During 4 – 6 September 2013 at the International Centre for Exhibition (I.C.E) Hanoi, the combination of three Expos will create an all-under-one-roof meeting centre for the manufacturing community. Buyers and sellers would meet, exchange knowledge and ideas, discover technologies, and develop their business networks. Any manufacturers and assemblers interested are welcome to register booths at this big event. This widely opens doors for Vietnamese makers to network with Japanese industrialists for machinery import and industrial production, and to urge Vietnamese small-to-medium enterprises to develop higher competitiveness to prepare for receiving Japan’s investment expansion.
For “The 5th Vietnam-Japan Exhibition on Supporting Industries in Hanoi (SIE 2013)”, about 50 Japanese exhibitors will display accessories they expect to “purchase” in Vietnam and 50 Vietnamese exhibitors will show their own products they want to “sell” to potential buyers. It is the 5th time, JETRO and VIETRADE co-organize this kind of SI Exhibition in Hanoi.

Besides the above SI Exhibition, 45 Japanese companies will bring to Vietnam its hi-technology products in various fields and robots (it is called Cool Japan Technology) at “the Japanese Monozukuri Technology Exhibition”. This exhibition is held by the Executive Committee for Japan-Vietnam Friendship Year on the occasion of celebrating the 40th anniversary of Japan – Vietnam Relations.
At the same time, “Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013” organized by Reed Tradex Thailandwill exhibit products and machineries serving industrial production with the participation of nearly 80 companies from different ASEAN countries.

Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013 will combine 4 international exhibitions on machinery and technology for specific industries (including InterPlas Vietnam 2013 for plastic and rubber, InterMold Vietnam 2013 for mold and die making, Automotive Manufacturing Vietnam 2013 for automotive parts manufacturing and Automation Vietnam 2013 on automation for production and assembly lines). The show will attract over 10,000 industrialists from across Vietnam who will discover the latest innovations, solutions, and services by over 200 exhibiting companies from around the world.

“We are confident that we, the organizers of three expos, will make this big event a real industrial platform for buyers and sellers to meet and create wider business networks, particularly for Japanese investors to expand their operation in Vietnam,” concluded Mr Yamaoka.
