Japan Supports Upgrading Vietnam Fire Engines
The Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, on March 13, held the signing ceremony of the grassroots grant contract funded by the Government of Japan for “The Project for Upgrading the Fire Engines in Vietnam” valued at US$51,198.
Both Hai Phong city and Da Nang city have industrial parks and belong to the region which many foreign companies are investing in, with many buildings of high risks of fire and burst. However, due to limitation in budget, it is very difficult to purchase a sufficient number of fire engines.
Under these circumstances, Hai Phong City Fire Fighting and Prevention Department will act as representative to receive used fire engines of Japan, these engines will be distributed to Hai Phong city and Da nang city.
