HCM City to Have Underground Parking

HCMC Transport Department has recently approved a project by Dong Duong company to construct underground parking in the area of the Opera House. The three level carpark will have a space of over 4,000 sq. metres for 192 cars. Total investment in the project will amount to VND113 billion. HCMC will assist and encourage the investors with measures such as forbidding parking within 100 metres of the project and reductions in and exemptions from taxes.
