IT Week 13: Towards e-government

IT Week 13 with the topic "Toward e-government" is being held on October 10-19, 2004 in Giang Vo Exhibition Centre, Hanoi. The Vietnam IT Association and Hanoi Telecom IT Association will co-sponsor the event. Like IT Weeks organised in previous years, IT Week 13 will focus on three activities: Computer Expo 2004, Seminar and Forum, and Vietnam IT Golden Cup 2004.

The exhibition this year will take place on an area of 3,000 sq. metres with the participation of over 60 enterprises including famous foreign companies such as Intel, Microsoft, HP, Epson, etc. and Vietnamese enterprises including VNPT, FPT, CMC and Vinh Trinh. In addition to the display of products, solutions and services, this year the exhibition will include selections of software solutions by Cluster and Vietnamese partners,  ShowGame by PCWorld magazine and CMS and a display by Ly Nam De IT enterprises.

The seminar will take place on October 15-16, focusing on three topics:  Toward e-government, IT human resources development in big cities, and a legal framework for e-transactions in Vietnam.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Cups will be awarded to 7 sectors.
