“Tastes of Europe” Inspires Vietnam with Wealth of New Flavours
The 7th edition of Food&Hotel Vietnam (FHV 2013) in Ho Chi Minh City closed its doors on May 2, 2013 after three successful days filled with new aroma and tastes. This year, a special flavour was added by the European Union’s stand, where 12,394 visitors of the FHV 2013 had the chance to explore quality European products and to experience their unique taste during the 3 days of the fair.
In order to establish and foster Vietnam-EU trade relationships, the European producers presented to the public a broad choice of renowned meats, cheeses, olive oils, fruits, vegetables and wines from several EU countries such as Austria, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom. This has been the opportunity for EU producers to meet Vietnamese food professionals personally and to secure business deals and potential connections. Visitors from all over Vietnam were pleased to discover and taste such a wide range of European products.
