Raising Personal Relief to VND9 Mln/Month

According to Decree No. 65/2013/ND-CP dated July 1, 2013, personal relief is VND9 million a month or VND108 million a year. Dependent relief is VND3.6 million a month, starting from the month with nurturing obligations.

 

Apart from personal and dependent reliefs, taxpayers will also have reductions for their funding for charitable establishments and study encouragement foundations.

 

The decree also specifies 14 groups of tax-free income, namely income from property transfer between husband and wife, between blood/foster father/mother with blood/adopted children, between grandfather/grandmother (in-law) with grandchildren (in-law), and between siblings, income from the transfer of only house, or income from bank savings and life insurance policies, etc.
