OCB Becomes First Bank in Vietnam to Deploy IBM QRadar Solutions

IBM has announced that Orient Commercial Bank (OCB) has become the first bank in Vietnam to apply IBM QRadar information security solution, and has obtained practical results after five months of deployment. QRadar has helped OCB comprehensively meet strict regulations and curb security challenges, including advanced persistent threats (APT), fraud and insider threats. OCB chose QRadar for its easy deployment and effective automatic information analysing and collecting functions.

 

After five months of QRadar application, OCB now only needs to use a single environment, support many control panels displaying many security interfaces, network operations or data being collected. For instance, OCB can detect network security threats before they can be performed in reality, identify roots and prevent violations. OCB can also create a customised control panel that enables it to focus on operational security or network operations based on its needs. QRadar's analytic functions allow OCB to supervise and classify security risks based on their importance.
