Promoting Vietnam - Algeria Trade

In implementing the approved National Trade Promotion Programme 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will lead a delegation consisting of 18 companies to Algiers City of Algeria to promote trade. The visit is expected to begin on October 18 and end on October 24, 2013.

 

The visit aims to study and survey the market, conduct trade exchange, meet partners, promote product images, and boost Vietnam’s exports to Algeria, focusing on rice, coffee, black pepper, coconut, frozen and canned seafood, consumer electronics appliances, computers and accessories, footwear, apparels, rubber, material plastics, industrial machines, mechanical machines, agricultural machines, chemicals, iron and steel, automobiles and parts, motorcycles, building materials and handicrafts (rattan items).

 

During the time in Algeria, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will also coordinate with Algerian agencies and Vietnamese Trade Office and Embassy in Algeria to organise a business meeting for visiting Vietnamese companies and Algerian firms, pay visits to companies, ports and commercial centres, meet with Algerian authorities to learn about import, export and investment policies.

 

This is a great opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to meet and discuss directly with Algerian partners to establish business relations and boost exports of Vietnam to the African market.
