Sale up to 50 Pct to Stimulate Tourism
Welcoming the Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival of Hanoi and the Red River Delta Craft of Hanoi and the Delta (9-12 October), 21 tourism operators in the Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance organized "Non-profit Travel Demand Stimulus Programme", which offers nearly 50 tours and 2,000 tickets to domestic and foreign destinations in tour packages which cost only as much as transportation price.
After nearly a year in operation, the Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance has made good impression and become a familiar brand with the main highlight being the International Tourism Fair 2013 held on April 2013. Following these successes and welcoming the Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival of Hanoi and the Red River Delta 2013, Craft of Hanoi and the Delta 2013, the Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance cooperates with Vietnam Airlines to officially launch a series of promotional products in the Autumn-Winter 2013. The series of tours mark the expansion of the scale and quality. Stimulus programmes not only focus on traditional local tours to Nha Trang, Da Lat, Da Nang and Phu Quoc, but also offer many new products, including attractive domestic flight routes to Chu Lai, Ly Son, Dien Bien; and to such outbound markets as Cambodia, Thailand, China, Myanmar, Japan and Korea.
Besides, the price of the tour package products Autumn-Winter 2013 also has the strong reduction compared to that of the previous stimulus programmes. The reason for this preferential price is because the Vietnam Airlines offers the biggest promotion ever of 60 percent reduction in airfares. In addition, the restaurant and hotel chains also offer discounts for their services. In particular, in order to attract visitors and encourage them to buy direct tours, the programme directly reduced by 10-15 percent on price of the stimulus programme during 4 days of the festival. As such, visitors had the opportunity to purchase a promotional tour with the highest total of up to 50 percent, savings from 10-15 percent compared to prices before and after the festival.
Mr Nguyen Cong Hoan, Head of Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance, said: "From October 2013, the Demand Stimulus Programme cooperates with Vietnam Airlines to build the product of Autumn-Winter Tourism with some adjustments in schedule and price. With preferential price, carefully selected products, diverse destinations, certain departure date and simple registration procedure, it is a rare opportunity for visitors to purchase tour from the leading travel companies in the northern region. This result again confirms the close cooperation between service operators (especially airlines) and travel operators to build better products."
