Overseas Remittance to Vietnam Reaches US$3Bln

Vietnamese living and working abroad (Viet Kieu) have repatriated nearly US$3 billion to their native country so far this year, exceeding the total sum of US$2.7 billion sent back to Vietnam in 2003.

According to the central bank, total money repatriated by overseas Vietnamese this year will reach around US$3.5 billion.
