More than 300 Exhibitors to Showcase at ProPak, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2014

ProPak, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2014 is scheduled to take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City from March 4 to 6, 2014.
 
The organisers said the international event will attract over 300 Vietnamese and foreign exhibitors to display their exhibits on a total area of over 6,000 square metres. The event is expected to draw 7,500 attendees.
 
Propak, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2014 is organised when plastic and rubber industries of Vietnam are sustaining annual growth of 20-25 percent. Vietnam remains an attractive investment destination for many Vietnamese and foreign businesses to scale up their operations.
 
Plastics and rubber industries are among the fastest-growing industries in Vietnam. Plastic is the core input for packaging industry while rubber is a strategic product of Vietnam.
 
VCCI Exhibition Service Co., Ltd, an organising member of Propak, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2014, said despite slow global economic recovery, Vietnam achieves an average economic growth of 5.8 percent. Its key exports include crude oil, garment - textile, seafood, rice and plastic products. The return of Propak, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2014 aims to serve production and export development demands, particularly in plastic and rubber production by introducing cost-effective technological improvements to economise inputs, cut costs and raise quality.
 
In addition to product and technology exhibition, the event will feature new and leading industry conferences and seminars, including “Renovate packaging design with new product development techniques,” and “3D printing & reverse engineering applications for agile development in plastic industry.” Particularly, the Vietnam Association of Food Science and Technology (VAFOST) - one of the sponsors - will host a conference on “Food technology - New improvements & advanced processing techniques.” Besides, the Vietnam Association of Testing Laboratories (VINALAB) will organise a seminar on food inspection.
