Appointed members included Mr Pham Dinh Doan, CEO and President of Phu Thai Group; Mrs Mai Trang Thanh, President of Honeywell Vietnam; Dr Vu Dinh Anh - economist; and Mr Colin Thoms, CEO of Fast Flow Group.
The World Council’s role is to provide an influential thought leadership and advice to ensure that Shape the World movement continues to be centred on six core issues (Better Organisations, Design as an Enabler, Value-driven Leadership, Inclusive Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Innovation, Smarter World). The distinguished members of the council are leaders of corporations, political and civil organisations from Brunei, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, the US and Vietnam.
The Shape the World movement will tap on the Council’s expertise to incite thought-provoking, disruptive and constructive conversation amongst participants. Starting this year, participants of the Shape the World Summit will discuss and explore ideas in connection to these six core issues, seeking new ways to achieve a better company through solving problems related to the core issues.
The upcoming Shape the World Summit 2014 will take place on August 14 in Vietnam and on November 4 in Singapore. The events will be held by Consulus in cooperation with VCCI and some associations in Singapore.
