Continuing with New Rural Development Objectives

The Prime Minister has issued a direction asking ministries, agencies and localities to speed up the implementation of the National Target Programme on building new rural areas to realise the Conclusion 97-KL/TW of the Politburo dated May 15, 2014 on a number of policies and solutions on continued implementation of the Resolution of the 7^th Central Party Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas.

 

The Prime Minister asked ministries, agencies and localities to improve the quality of planning; supplement agricultural production schemes in line with agricultural restructuring requirements and agro-products amidst international integration; and build new rural areas in association with agricultural restructuring.

 

In addition, he said vocational training for rural residents must be based on practical demands of enterprises and localities and poverty reduction, especially in remote and far-reaching areas and ethnic minority groups, should be paid due attention.

 

He also assigned specific tasks for ministers and ministries to carry out this direction.
